-Brad Pitt is up for playing British explorer Percy Fawcett, who disappeared in the Amazon jungle in 1925 during an expedition to find a lost city.  Pitt, age 44, has expressed an interest in producing and starring in “Lost City of Z” which tells the story of Fawcett’s ill-fated mission 83 years ago.

-Actress and ‘bad gir’ Lindsay Lohan is set to portray one of the cult followers loyal to convicted murderer Charles Manson, in a new movie called “Manson Girls,” US media reported on Thursday.  Lohan, age 21, would star as Nancy Pitman in the movie, produced by Brad Wyman of Junction Films.
